new Game(), a Codemotion brand dedicated to Game Development

Since the first edition of Codemotion in 2011, Game Development has always been an important focus within our conference, with an entire day of dedicated talks and a showcase area.

In the last few years Codemotion has had the fortune to witness the indie scene’s evolution in Italy and has been an active part of it. For this reason, we created a new dedicated brand.

new Game() wants to contribute to Game Development by delivering high level contents in regards to every aspect of GameDev: not just in terms of coding, but also design, graphics, music and sfx, marketing and business.

We collaborate with many important italian organizations, such as Game Happens and Game Over, because we strongly believe in the value of networking and sharing ideas.

One big player we have a partnership with is Casual Connect: thanks to this collaboration, during all our Codemotions, the project voted as the best of the GameDev showcase area, is invited to exhibit in a Casual Connect event and attends the International Indie Prize, which takes place in Singapore, Berlin, Tel Aviv or Seattle.

Being part of Codemotion, an international tech conference, new Game() aims to be the vehicle that connects game developers, not only across Europe but also worldwide.
