With the Internet of Things we are transforming the world that surrounds us into a giant robot (or better, a network of robots) which will support us in all aspects of our mundane activities, either in the privacy of our homes or in intricate public environments such as the Port of Rotterdam.
During our meetup we’ll explore how IoT solutions are actually contributing to change the way we interact with the things around us (pun intended).

Frehun Adefris Demissie – Lead Big Data & IoT Architect at LINKIT
Frehun started his profession with a two years teaching and research experience in a University. Then he advanced his career as an engineer in which he conducted a number of analytical research projects in healthcare, oil & gas, maritime, electronics, pharmaceuticals, automotive, IT & IoT and other service, manufacturing and process industries.
Freek van Gool – Platform architect for the NXT platform at Quby. Freek consider himself as a visionary IT Architect, bridging Technology, Business and Processes to allow teams to deliver results and make an impact.
