Bots and digital assistants were popular before, but with the abundance of mobile and the up rise of AI they tend to become really useful now. Bots are not just chatbots, but also arise in voice based devices and become very knowledgeable and actionable. Bots and assistants become a normal extra UI on application and make it possible to have a more human like interaction with computer systems.
