CODEMOTION AMSTERDAM TECH CONFERENCE

ROLE and COMPANY: Software Engineer at Mozilla

WHY SHOULD PARTICIPANTS CHOOSE TO ATTEND YOUR TALK?
WebAssembly is the new technology in your browser, now widely available but still early in its lifetime. After this talk, you will know about its strengths and what’s there to come. If you are a webdev you should keep an eye on WebAssembly.
Title: WebAssembly for the rest of us
When: Tuesday, May 16th from 15:00 to 15:40
IF YOUR TALK HAD A SOUNDTRACK, WHAT WOULD THAT BE?
Some electronic, fast-pacing music, which matches the technology stack we will look at.
IF YOU WERE A PARTICIPANT WHICH TALKS WOULD YOU ATTEND AND WHY?
There are a lot of interesting talks from different fields. In general, I can recommend things that are just slightly out of your comfort zone, be it a less technical focused talk or a tech project you always wanted to try but never had the time. Look out for those talks!
WHAT IS HAPPENING IN YOUR FIELD IN 5 YEARS?
It’s changing rapidly. I’m involved with both a new programming language and a new browser technology. I’d like to see ideas from both still alive and developed further in 5 years to make the world of computing safe & fast and approachable for everyone.
